"So off go the cluster bombs, their passage lubricated by crocodile tears from administration officials"

Just so! When the Russians use them, they're committing war crimes. When America provides them to Ukraine to use, it's a necessary if perhaps slightly regrettable step.

Your critique of my old service, the Air Force, is sadly spot on. For the AF, CAS is unglamorous and contrary to the idea the AF can win wars alone with "strategic" airpower. No need to coordinate with the Army. Just put bombs on target using John Warden's five-rings theory and you win.

The F-35 as a replacement for the A-10 is a total joke. The F-35 is too fast, can't carry the necessary ordnance, and is nowhere near as reliable. And, as you mention, its cannon is not nearly as powerful and accurate as the A-10's is; indeed, the A-10 was designed and built around its nose cannon.

Ah well. Let's buy some new ICBMs and strategic stealth bombers so we can "win" a nuclear war. What could possibly go wrong?

the A10 nose cannon which can't pierce the top armor of a T55? yeah ok bud

Pierre Sprey being praised in an article is a major ass red flag, especially considering he wasnt even on the design team of the A10

Major Ass? I imagine there are a lot who should have that name in the dysfunctional but deadly global war machine.

So, if we’re running out of ammunition, we really don’t need the current Armed Forces, since they’re now unarmed forces. It’s back to sticks and stones, is it? How about name calling and foot stamping?

Canada tried to not buy the F-35, but then pulled a 180 at the highest level. Intense diplomacy at the top was probably involved. We're being beaten up for not wanting to spend that 2% of GDP, and buying the f35 after all is probably the price of America not belabouring the point.

If only, if only, Canada could instead save the A10. Buy them up as America dumps them, take over the training, be an indispensable partner when they turn out to be badly needed.

But I'm dreaming. It'll be the 35.

You're literally retarded so I don't think you should be writing at all. Kill yourself. I've been following Russian shit for the last 7 years, I have a clue about what is and isn't reality. You don't got it

I see someone watched Pentagon Wars and thought it was a documentary. It's not. Your takes are delusional and a joke, but you at least have the confidence in your writing to make it sound true.

Yeah, the movie was off from the book, which detailed considerably worse malfeasance, and had documentation for same. Since it had documentation, the book was indeed a documentary.

RIP Jim Burton, one of the real military heroes.

Yeah tight like NATO isn’t getting its ass kicked by an opponent with one hand tied. You need to read and get of your bubble more.
